Summary:
The Accounts Payable Assistant must have good people management, organizational, and planning capabilities.
Understands and knowledge of how to deal with people on a professional level.
Assist the manager in maintaining all official records, filing, scanning and small projects.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Experience:
High School diploma or equivalentExperience with Microsoft suite, specifically:
Word, Excel and OutlookMaintain cooperative working relationship with supervisor and other employeesAbility to report to work during customary or specifically assigned working hoursA person in this position must be a confident communicator with othersPerform all duties in an independent manner with little supervisionExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent phone and customer relations skills knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keepingKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standardsAbility to interact effectively with peers, supervisors and publicAbility to analyze and solve problemsStrong computer skills and ability to multi-task within multiple systems and across projectsExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
