Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialists Ethos-California Veterinary Group d/b/a Veterinary Specialist Hospital - Sorrento ValleySan Diego, CA Description We are seeking Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialists for the following:
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Oversee cases and guide all medical aspects of treatment for the hospital's animals, including:
Evaluate patients and provide treatments, procedures, and interventions.
Collaborate with other Specialists and technicians in the treatment of patients.
Perform abdominal ultrasounds if indicated on internal medicine patients.
See new patients for internal medicine consults, see current patients for rechecks or as needed, manage hospitalized patients.
Routine procedures performed by a veterinary Internist include high resolution ultrasonography (abdominal, cervical, thoracic), fine-needle aspiration, upper and lower gastroenteroscopy, foreign body retrieval, placement of feeding tubes, rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy and bronchoalveolar lavage, cystoscopy, laparoscopic liver biopsies, joint taps, and bone marrow aspiration and core biopsy.
Communicate effectively with clients, other staff members, and referring veterinarians, including:
Provide a summary of exam and discharge instructions to the client and referring veterinarian within 24-48 hours of service.
Provide continuing education seminars as needed.
Work one-on-one to teach and train veterinary intern doctors and internal medicine residents.
Stay up to date on modalities and medications in the field of Internal Medicine, including:
Attend continuing education events that are pertinent to the field.
Participate in discourse with other specialists within Ethos veterinarians nationally to maintain the highest level of patient care.
Be up to date on publications relevant to the field and share those with the team.
Requirements:
Doctor in Veterinary Medicine or foreign equivalent Completion of a 12 month rotating veterinary internship Completion of a 36 month residency in Internal Medicine Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of California.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
