Duties of the Maintenance Technician include but are not limited to electrical, plumbing, soldering/braising, diagnosing and repairing of appliances, drywall/patching/texturing, painting, locks and re-keying, some carpentry, ceramic tile, vinyl flooring installation, and repair.
In addition to these duties, you will also be responsible for turning apartments and assisting in projects as needed.
What Will You Be Doing?General apartment maintenance including, but not limited to:
Electrical - relay switches, fan motors, run capacitors, and conversionsPlumbing - slab leaks, angle stop replacements, hot water heater replacements, faucetsDrywall - patching and texturingLocks & RekeyingAppliance - troubleshooting and repairing dishwashers, refrigerators, garbage disposals, and washers/dryersApartment TurnsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED 2 years' of experience in construction/handyman or general maintenance/contractor experienceLift up to 50 poundsObserve all company procedures and safety rules Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction Able to plan, organize and follow through on work Friendly, personable, and professional demeanor at all times Self-starter who demonstrates professionalism and can work independently Valid driver's license What Are We Looking For?Apartment maintenance experience is requiredMust be available for an on-call rotation Applicants being considered for employment will undergo a background check and drug screen.
