Summary:
Serve as the primary logistics subject matter expert in support of a Navy C4I Acquisition Program office.
The Sr.
Logistics candidate will work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties identified below independently.
This person may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Job Duties:
Manage the logistics and supply chain functions for multiple projects with the potential for broad scope, ambiguity, and high degree of difficulty.
Coordinate Independent Logistics Assessments (ILA) and Product Support Reviews (PSR) for ACAT programs.
Develop and review various logistics documentation including ILSP, LCSP, ULSS, LRFS, RMA reports, FST reports, ILS Certification and ILS Risk messages.
Coordinate with various organizations (PEO C4I, NAVWAR, NAVSUP, NAVSEALOGCEN) and program managers to facilitate logistics and supply chain topics and issues.
Understand and manage the 12 Integrated Product Support elements throughout the system development process and/or at major milestones; the twelve (12) Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements of Navy Logistics Management include:
Product Support Management; Supply Support; Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transport; Maintenance Planning and Management; Design Interface; Sustaining Engineering; Technical Data; Computer Resources; Facilities and Infrastructure; Manpower and Personnel; Support Equipment; Training and Training Support.
Manage and facilitate logistics data and information within various Navy/DoD logistics tools and databases.
Mandatory Skill Requirements (must have):

years of experience in DoD (or other agency) Logistics and/or supply chain related functionsExperience in overseeing the life-cycle logistic management of complex integrated programs, projects, and/or systems Experience with various Navy/DoD logistics tools and databases (SPIDER, JETDAS, ICAPS, CDMD-OA, SAILOR, etc).
Experience preparing and developing Performance Based Logistics (PBL) plans and support strategies in support of DoD weapon systemsEducation/Equivalent and Certification requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityProject Management Professional (PMP) certified, or, DAWIA Level III certifiedAdditional desired skills or experiences:
Experience with ACAT I, II, or III programsExperience with Undersea programs and equipmentSpecial Considerations or Comments:
Clearance:
TS clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
