Telecommunications Specialist, GS-0391-12

You will serve as Telecommunications Specialist and technical expert implementing and managing all matters pertinent to the requirements, development, tracking, networking and new-user training programs and systems supporting MSRT-West and its assigned Advanced Interdiction and Counterterrorism missions. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical duties include:
Managing the MSRT-W's overall C4ISR program to include administrative, acquisition requests, maintenance tracking, operational, and compliance responsibilities related to C4ISR systems. Developing and using measures of performance and measures of effectiveness to ensure that C4ISR systems and procedures support the unit's objectives and operational requirements. Coordinating the work effort of the MSRT-W Communications staff to meet training and operational program goals and objectives. Conducting and providing detailed analysis of C4ISR systems and procedures to leverage emerging technologies in order to improve unit capabilities through the improved networking of tactical radio, computer automation and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance collection systems. You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level performing duties such as:
Developing long-range plans, goals, objectives and milestones for evaluating and measuring the effectiveness of a unit's program and capabilities. Implementing and managing all matters pertinent to the requirements for development, tracking, networking and new-user training programs and systems for Advanced Interdiction and Counterterrorism missions. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience):

If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule, C, Non-career SES or Presidential Appointee employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
