Founded in 1973 in a barber shop in Downtown San Diego by Filipino health professionals offering services to immigrants who did not have the finances, linguistic skills, or ability to navigate the health care system.
Today, Operation Samahan has evolved into a diverse community health center with services available in National City, Mira Mesa, City Heights, and Rancho Penasquitos.
We provide primary care, dental, behavioral health, family planning, integrative health and wellness, healthy eating, civic engagement, and other health related services to the uninsured, underinsured, and underserved families of all income levels regardless of their ability to pay.
Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual for a temporary contract position as an HR Filing Clerk.
This role primarily involves managing and organizing HR documents efficiently.
It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys clerical work and can work independently.
Responsibilities Create and maintain employee files accurately and securely.
Organize and file HR documents such as resumes, applications, and personnel records.
Assist HR staff with basic administrative tasks as needed.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Retrieve files and information upon request from HR team members.
Perform general office duties like photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents.
Privacy Policy and HIPAA Compliance Maintain privacy of all clients, employee and volunteer information and access such information only on a need-to-know basis for business purposes.
Comply with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations.
Report unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior or activity.
QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous clerical or administrative experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Respect for confidentiality and discretion.
Willingness to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
