- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, medication reminders, supporting exercise and mindfulness routines and light housekeeping.
- Ensure client safety and well-being by following established protocols and procedures to include fall prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client care activities.
- Promote independence and respect client rights in all interactions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Skills:
- Experience in home care or assisted living settings.
- Familiarity with caring for dementia clients.
- Proficient in meal preparation and following dietary restrictions preferably a low-carb, ketogenic diet.
- Ability to provide emotional support to client.
- Transportation to senior activities at local senior center.
