GDMS is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative and Logistics Associate to keep our National City office running smoothly and efficiently.
This is a great opportunity to assist our employees with diverse projects and provide general administrative support.
You'll be responsible for providing a full range of Administrative and Logistics support to multiple managers and/or directors, working on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative.

High School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Work as a team member or independently with minimal supervision, with or without established procedures Open to new ideas and can serve as a champion for change and acts to support change when directed from management Distinct understanding of the general and technical aspects of the job and the function What sets you apart:
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor in interacting with a wide variety of people Strong organization and time management skills, attention to detail and penchant for accuracy, and ability to multi-task high priorities Consistently displays high performance attributes Responsibilities Manage and monitor daily activities concerning entry/exit, video security, and other devices related to facility security.
Perform access control responsibilities including managing badges, access cards and visit requests, as required.
Work with the Facilities Security Officer (FSO) and other security officers to include GDMS, Navy Base and ship access, and shipyards security to obtain access and security badging for all GDMS employees.
Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence using Microsoft tools as word, Excel, Power Point applications.
Process new employee On Boarding processes to include new GDMS ID badges, DBIDS, CAC and building access, coordinate and provide desk and associated materials assignment.
Exceptional computer skills and knowledge of the enterprise software tools and associated data Performs Cycle counts, monthly Inventory, and location verification of materials within Warehouse/Storage Containers General knowledge of shipping/receiving activities, inventory, and material control processes and administrative tasks involved in receiving, storing, distributing, packaging, shipments, and issue of materials (DD form 1149) General knowledge of Government/Customer Property Control Salary Note:
